This lights up my entire living room! We have 20 ft ceilings with no overhead lighting in living room. Very impoimporessed. Used GE Reveal 50-100-150 light bulb. Highly recommend.

I found this lamp online and, after reading the reviews, decided I wanted to buy it because I needed extra lighting in my room (I had no overhead lights). I was looking for a specific look, one that the bronze finish really complimented. I order the product online and used the site-to-store to pick it up. Great service, by the way. When I got the lamp home, I had it out of the box and set up in the corner of my room in under 5 minutes. Needless to say, setup was extremely easy and uncomplicated. After using it for a couple weeks, I have to say that it works amazingly. I love how it works with the rest of my room and sheds just the right amount of light (don't forget to buy a 3-way bulb). Like others have said, the shade is not glass (it's actually plastic). But I could care less. It looks great and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Great lamp with an amazing price. As other reviewers have said, the shade is actually plastic but looks like it is glass to a casual observer. If you work with glass regularly, or get very close/touching, you can tell it's not glass, but if it really was glass, it would be much more expensive. Two tips I wish I'd known when I bought it: -It's a three-way lamp (the description may have said this, but I missed it and was pleasantly surprised) -As likely stated, it does not come with a light bulb. If I had noticed, I would have also bought a 3-way floresent bulb when I went to pick up the lamp. Overall, it's a great lamp for an amazing price; remember to buy a 3-way bulb for it if you don't already have one!

We bought this lamp a few years ago and it has been great. I have seen here and on Amazon where people complained about putting it together and it really was not that difficult at all. Unfortunately my kids broke the lamp shade part so I came here searching for a replacement but I don't see where there is an option to buy JUST the shade :( I love the lamp, but I hate to pay full price again. So I will just find another lamp shade that will suffice and call it a day.

This is a floor lamp which comes in multiple sections you have to screw together. As expected with a walmart purchase it is of inferior quality with sections which do not align properly thereby the lamp leans. This is a design flaw.

I purchased two of these lamps for my living room. It's true, you can not tell that the shade part is plastic unless you are up close. I think these are a really great value. My father-in-law would probably say "they look like they're from Restoration Hardware."

This lamp looks nice in a traditional decor. The shade is plastic, I thought it would be glass but you really can't tell that when it's set up and working.

We bought six of these, and are bringing all of them back. They are junk. The design is so poor that the sleeve that is supposed to hold the plastic shade on won't engage the thread when the shade is in place. I don't know how the people that liked this were even able to get them put together. They might just have the shade balanced on the top but not threaded together. Then when taking it apart, the threaded insert that connects each tube together can just as easily come unthreaded from either end or both.
